How is SKYVIEW™ different from other wellness lighting products?

Great question! There are a few key features that make SKYVIEW™ the best and most effective wellness lighting product on the market.

  • Designed by Experts – SKYVIEW™ was developed by the same engineers who pioneered the first LED lighting systems for NASA to keep astronauts healthy on the International Space Station. SKYVIEW™ is specifically designed to focus on improving wellness, using research-backed technology.
  • Patented Technology – SKYVIEW™ uses a special and unique mix of LEDs, developed by our experts, not available anywhere else. With this patented mix of LEDs, SkyView provides the most effective wellness light for day and night. SkyView also eliminates glare and is visually comfortable. Other wellness lights use basic LED technology which is not as effective and often very bright and uncomfortable.
  • 24-Hour Dynamic Light – SKYVIEW™ is a 24-hour (day-to-night) wellness light. Most wellness lighting products focus on just daytime or just evening, which means you need two (2) different lights that have to be controlled separately.
  • Automatically Adjusts – SKYVIEW™ automatically adjusts throughout the day based on your schedule — transitioning from sunrise, to daytime, to sunset, and evening — providing optimal wellness light signals from morning to night.

How is SKYVIEW™ different from other LED products?

LED lighting products are not designed for wellness in any way.

SKYVIEW™ was created specifically for wellness and uses a special and unique mix of LEDs. The patented mix of LEDs allows SKYVIEW™ to deliver the most effective wellness light for day and night while eliminating glare and maximizing visual comfort.

Other wellness LED lights use legacy LED technology which is not as effective for wellness. When basic LEDs are used for daytime wellness, the products are often very bright and uncomfortable.

Even color tuning and tunable white LEDs use basic LEDs which are not designed for wellness and are much less effective than SKYVIEW™.

How do I use my SKYVIEW™ light?

SKYVIEW™ is easy to set up. Simply download the SKYVIEW™ App and follow the instructions. Once you follow the setup instructions for the mobile app and answer a few simple questions about your sleep and wake schedule, SKYVIEW™ is ready to go!

Set-up instruction

Will SKYVIEW™ arrive fully assembled?

SKYVIEW™ 2 ships fully assembled. You will need to connect the power cord to the base of the light and then into a wall outlet. Instructions for pairing SKYVIEW™ with the mobile app are also included in the box or can be found on the product page of our website.

SKYVIEW™ 2 Pro ships in one box with two (2) separate pieces to protect the hand-blown glass globe during transit. Simply follow the instructions included in the box to attach the globe to the lamp base once it arrives. You will need to connect the power cord to the base of the light and then into a wall outlet. Instructions for pairing SKYVIEW with the mobile app are also included in the box or can be found on the product page of our website.

Do I need a light bulb for my SKYVIEW™ lamp?

You do not need to purchase additional light bulbs for SKYVIEW™.

SKYVIEW™ arrives with the light source you need to take your first step to a better you! It includes an innovative combination of light-emitting diodes (LEDs), specially engineered to support healthy circadian rhythms.

Delivery & Refund

What types of payment do you accept?

Credit and debit card. We also offer Affirm so that you can buy now and pay later.

My organization / school is tax-exempt. How can we place an order?

Please contact skyview@bioslighting.com with your order inquiry and our team will assist you with the order process.

I would like to cancel my order, what do I do?

Please contact customerservice@skyviewlight.com and provide your order number, which can be found in your order confirmation email, and we will assist you with this process.

My order should have arrived, but I can’t find it. What should I do?

Check the tracking number provided by the BIOS Team for your order, sent via email (check spam if you do not see the notification.) Estimated delivery dates can vary based on weather conditions, traffic fluctuations or failed delivery attempts.

All SKYVIEW™ shipments require a signature upon delivery, the tracking URL provided by the BIOS Team will show the name of the individual who signed for your package upon delivery.

If the tracking status states “Delivered” and you are still unable to locate your SkyView, please use the link below to file a claim with UPS:

My lamp arrived damaged, what should I do?

Please send an email to skyview@bioslighting.com with the following information:

  • Order # (found on your order confirmation email).
  • Photos of damage showing the condition in which the box arrived as well as product damage.

Our team will assist you from there.

Does SKYVIEW™ come with a warranty?

The SKYVIEW™ warranty extends for 1 year (12 months) from the original date of purchase.

Which countries do you ship to?

Currently, SKYVIEW™ is available for purchase in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Please contact us directly at skyview@bioslighting.com if you have a commercial scale project outside of North America and we can provide more details on purchasing SKYVIEW™ products in other countries.

How long will it take to ship after I place my order?

We offer both overnight and ground shipping options via UPS. If you are choosing regular ground service, please plan on a 3 to 5-day shipping window once your SKYVIEW™ lamp has left our warehouse.

Shipments to Hawaii may take a few more days to arrive.

The BIOS team will provide a shipment tracking number for your reference and can assist with any questions or inquiries as to your order status.

Can I get a refund if I decide that my SKYVIEW™ lamp is not what I expected?

Yes, you can return SKYVIEW™ within 60 days (with no questions asked) for a full refund, so long as it is in like-new condition, you have the original packaging, and proof of purchase.

We’re confident you’ll love SKYVIEW™ but, if it is not what you expected or you are unsure whether SKYVIEW™ is for you, we strongly suggest waiting for few weeks to send it back right away.

Instead, use it for two (2) weeks, then pack it up, but hold on to it for seven (7) more days. If you don’t miss the benefits SKYVIEW™ offers after those seven (7) days, send it back to us for a full refund.

In our experience, most of our customers miss SKYVIEW when they are out of their office or homeand don’t even want to go one (1) day without SKYVIEW™ by their side!

How long will my SKYVIEW™ last?

SKYVIEW™ was designed for 50,000 hours of LED lifetime when in daytime mode. This is about 10.5 years with typical day-long use.

What are the differences between SKYVIEW 2 and SkyView 2 Pro?

SKYVIEW 2 and SkyView 2 Pro use the same LEDs and provide the same wellness benefits.

SKYVIEW 2 Pro is an award-winning luxury product. Constructed from premium materials, featuring a triple-layer, handblown, translucent glass globe which is supported by a solid-billet aluminum base.

SKYVIEW 2 features a durable acrylic globe with a cast aluminum base that is child-friendly and great for spaces where glass cannot be used.

Do I need a smartphone or a tablet to use SKYVIEW™?

SKYVIEW™ requires the use of a smartphone or tablet to run the SKYVIEW™ app for initial setup. Once you have used the app to go through initial setup, you can set it and forget it!
